ANNOUNCING THE RE-LAUNCH OF OUR WEBSITE
With celebrity culture on the rise, Celebrity Certificates is pleased to announce the re-launch of its website, offering the public the opportunity to obtain celebrity birth, death and marriage certificates. Since starting last year the website has been staggered by the number of enquiries it has received for its services.
Certificate requests have come in thick and fast, and despite a downturn in the economy, the order book does not appear to have been affected. Shaun Russell, the publicist for this flourishing business, says: “It's been absolutely amazing. We never expected to receive so many requests. We just assumed that we would get a trickle of orders, but we were flooded with them.”
“We put this down to the fact that people love to collect celebrity memorabilia such as autographs. Our service is just an extension of this. We have found that famous British names such as John Lennon, David Beckham and The Krays have been the most requested.”
The certificates, which are issued in a stylish frame, are NOT novelty items, but official ‘collectable’ documents automatically authenticated by Government officials.
Other popular celebrity certificate requests include Freddie Mercury, Elton John and David Tennant; all of whom have changed their name. Shaun continues: “We really enjoy tracking down the certificates of such celebrities. It is astonishing how many have changed their names over the years; this presents an unusual challenge for us.”
Celebrity Certificates has also issued a list of its Top 25 favourite celebrities to have changed their name. These include Archibald Leach, commonly known as UK born film star, Cary Grant; Orpah Winfrey, who changed one letter in her name to become Oprah Winfrey; Arnold George Dorsey, who became Englebert Humperdinck; and Allan Stewart Konigsberg, the orginal name of New York-based film director and actor, Woody Allen.
